What it does
The Atlas app connects your computer to your company's Atlas data. You sign in with your Google account, and the app downloads your company's business data files to your own device. That is all it does: access is read-only, and the data goes to you, not to us.
Who can use it
The app is for Atlas customers. Access is granted by the Atlas team to the people your company designates. Signing in with a Google account that has not been authorized gives access to nothing.
What it can access
When you sign in with Google, the app receives exactly one permission, which Google's consent screen describes as “View your data in Google Cloud Storage”:
- Read-only access to files in Google Cloud Storage, limited to what your own account is already allowed to open
In practice that is your company's dedicated data area, and the app never reads anything else. It cannot reach your email, files, or calendar, and it cannot change or delete anything.
